Tech Help sessions
Having tech issues with any of your devices? For a short 10-15 minute session of tech help, book into one of Sanctuary Point or Ulladulla Libraries' Tech Tuesday sessions or drop into Nowra Library from 10am- 12pm for Tech Wednesdays.
Services Offered:
- Email Help: Attaching files, downloading/saving emails, printing documents
- App Assistance: Downloading, deleting, and organising apps on phones
- Phone Guidance: Sending messages, making calls, managing silent mode
- Zoom Usage: Basic instructions on using Zoom
- Remote Printing: Assistance with using our remote printing service
- E-Readers: Help with Kobo e-readers
Services NOT Provided:
- Passport applications, banking assistance, grant submissions, PC repairs, virus removal, device setup, advice on service providers and/or plans.
To help your tech session run smoothly, please make sure you know all of your device and account passwords.

One on One Classes
- One-hour sessions available for $30, covering various tech topics from basic to advanced. Contact Nowra Library or Ulladulla Library to make a booking.
Tech Savvy Seniors
Tech Savvy Seniors is a digital literacy training program, funded by the NSW Government and Telstra. The program provides training sessions at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels on the use of computers, tablets, smartphones, email, social media etc.
The training is provided by the library throughout the year. Events can be found on our What's On page.
You can also access the Tech Savvy Seniors website to find lesson plans to follow along in your own time. These plans are available in English, Arabic, Chinese, Croatian, Dari, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Korean, Macedonoian, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
Be Connected
Shoalhaven Libraries is proud to be a part of Be Connected, a national network of community organisations helping older Australians thrive in a digital world. Be Connected offers a wide range of online computer/technology/software tutorials for absolute beginners through to advanced users. To get started, visit the Be Connected website.
Living Connected
Living Connected is a not-for-profit community organisation that provides digital mentoring to senior citizens. They provide regular drop-in sessions, online help via Zoom call, and home visits to assist with technology. Most of their services are free (including the first home visit). Shoalhaven Community College
Shoalhaven Community College provides tech help in the form of weekly drop in sessions as well as classes tailored to more specific topics.
Also, Shoalhaven Libraries regularly host free classes run by the Shoalhaven Community College. These courses are a fantastic way to hone your technology skills! Visit our Events page to see if we have any upcoming classes.
