Extended Hours - Monday November 29, 2021

On Monday 29th November, Shoalhaven Libraries will be extending our opening hours. Our branches will now be open during the following times:

  • Nowra Library: Monday – Friday 10:00am – 6:00pm
  • Ulladulla Library: Monday – Friday 10:00am – 5:00pm, Saturday 9:30am - 2:00pm
  • Sanctuary Point Library: Monday – Friday 10:00am – 5:00pm
  • Milton Library: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 10:30am – 12:30pm & 2:00pm – 5:00pm
  • Mobile Library: Back to our regular timetable

In line with the Public Health Order, we ask that if you wish to visit our libraries:

  • Masks are mandatory for everyone 12 years and over.*
  • Mandatory check-in is in place (QR code or staff manual check-in)
  • All individuals 16 and over must be fully vaccinated to enter the library*. Proof must be sighted by a library staff member. If you are under the age of 16 you must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated member from your household.
  • Please remember to sanitise your hands and maintain 1.5m social distancing at all times.

* A statutory declaration or medical certificate is required for face mask exemptions. This will need to be sighted by library staff on entry.

* If you have a medical reason for not receiving the COVID-19 vaccination, you will require a NSW Health medical contraindication certificate. This will need to be sighted by library staff on entry.

Unable to enter the library?

For those individuals who are unable to visit the library, our Digital Library, and Click, Call & Collect service will remain available to all members.


For those who are unable to return to the library our Click, Call & Collect service remains open. Reserve your items and pick them up from the library!

Digital Library

Our Digital Library is always open! Download eBooks, eAudio and eMagazines, stream movies and stay informed with a range of digital resources covering everything from literature to languages to health.

All our apps and digital resources are free for library members. To log in, you'll need a current Shoalhaven Libraries library card number or Digital Membership number and your library PIN (your date of birth by default eg. 01021980)

Kids are always welcome to read, listen, stream and learn at our Digital Library. Highlights for kids include Story Box Library, Kanopy for Kids, BorrowBox, and Britannica Library. Visit our Kids page to learn more!

Our Digital Library is a treasure trove of information for students, including magazine, newspaper and journal articles, maps, reports, reviews, images and video, and free access to Britannica Library. Topics include science, human society, the environment, PD/H/PE, literature, history, Australian current affairs, social sciences, and languages.
